MUA on two splinted crowns?

Anyone have thoughts on this? Someone wants to use MUA's to splint #18-#19 together. I would think with any kind of lateral movement is going to cause a lot of stress on the little screw in the ti base screw.

Sounds like "someone" is listening to "someone else" who has a stockpile of MUAs they want to get rid of.

Its a bad choice. It will be a recurring headache.

if that's what the Dr wants, that what they would get.
however, it wouldn't be our reoccurring headache! lol. advise and remove any promises regarding the work.

I am in house and all the dentists headaches are in fact my problem.

I've done a few..
no issues that i know of, but as others have stated, non engaging custom or bases would be best
