all vertical mills have a relatively high tolerance specially those light weight ones.
only lathes have the minimum tolerance, some of them less than 3 micron they said.
but all those numbers are pure theoretical.
no wander if a light vertical mill has a tolerance of more than 30 micron.
to get low tolerance you must mill softer materials.

do you think it would work to mill a full puck in wax, then cast the puck, then put the puck back on the machine and mill the screw channels and implant interfaces ?

then getting it back in the machine in precisely the same spot... no angular or lateral movement.

You must use a high-quality wax, high density and without bubble, I saw discs with micro bubbles, pas bon !
I found this wax in Brazil, I like it like the samba !
