Ha the boys over at B&D dental said it couldn't be done, but I pulled off the unthinkable here with only a 4 axis mill! Thanks to Jason up in Tenn for sending me the files to be milled I proved B&D wrong! :D

No I didn't design these NicelyMKV designed them with Exocad, he sent me the files to mill for him. He is the man! I imagine you can do this with 3shape just have never explored that option!

What's your take on the strength of this solution? Those ERA's will place a huge load where the attachment connects to the crown. How thick was the distal wall of the crown where the ERA's attach? I would love to know the long term results of this solution. I love it conceptually. Great job guys!

Bob, this was the Docs family member. They basically refused any metal involvement. He used temp cement and everyone understands the uncertainty of longevity. It is 1.2mm thick in the area of the attachment. Using Exocad, I was able to stretch the vertical dimensions of the attachment without interfering with the vertical of the internal engaging area. My concerns were more on the occlusal area. Several .5mm areas. I will definitely keep you informed.

The removable lab really appreciated the parallelization executed by Exocad as well;)
