Lincoln, NE January 8, 2008 - MacPractice, Inc., the leading developer of practice management software and clinical applications designed especially for Mac OS X, announces the release of MacPractice Patient Interface for Web/Reception.
MacPractice Patient Interface for Web and Reception area helps physicians, dentists, optometrists and chiropractors who use MacPractice MD, MacPractice DDS, MacPractice 20/20 and MacPractice DC take a big step toward becoming paperless.Patients may register themselves on the Internet before arriving in the office, or they can complete their registration forms in the reception area. HIPAA Forms may also be completed and authenticated on line or in reception. Patients may also request an appointment.Registration and appointment request forms may be integrated into the practice's web site. More Web Forms are forthcoming."We are introducing the Patient Interface to MacPractice software in an effort to minimize data entry time and staff cost, to assist doctors in moving to a paperless environment, and to provide greater efficiency and convenience for patients.
