Ivoclar S1 1600

Just purchased a S1 sintering furnace. Anyone running it on 110v or is it better to switch it to 220v. I have both available at furnace location

Good purchase, I have 2 of them.

Both of mine are on 220. I asked my rep the same question as I thought it would run more efficiently with 220. He said it didn't matter as the oven will run and fire the same. It's more of the circuit board etc technology that takes over.

Part of it running more efficiently is that the elements and chamber don't have to heat up a coffin with beads.

My rep said the same thing. Just like to hear from actual users. I think i'll run it on 220
