You can export from the MyiTero portal if you choose without ditching. Any choices with Exocad (2017+) (color)(etc) will have the ditch and margin, but if you just choose "Color Export - Open Model"
With that option, no ditch, just untainted iTero raw scan. You also get no margin though.
You can combine the two by download an Exocad Color 2017+ with margins, and the Color Export - Open Model, then replace the models from the Exocad export with the open export ones. Voila, you get unditched models with margins marked.
No option from what I've tried by default gives you cake and let's you eat it too.
