Investment liquid

The Zahn liquid says it's universal on the can. does anyone know if it will work with most investments? I've used Microstar with Zahn invest. with no problems, I think it's the same stuff, but I have other left over and I'd like to use it up.. Any thoughts? Thx, Dave

How long has it been leftover, is the silica starting to crystalize at the bottom of bottle/can yet?
If what's been working has been working, is it worth the attempt? Maybe, as the Zahn liquid is probably cheaper than Microstar's.

If you're going to use the Microstar liquid, just make sure you're using the BlueStar version
