I have Attachments housings that look like that. I thought they need to be
thin enough to flex just a little to make it easier to remove and insert new
clips even though the housings would be embedded inside rigid acrylic?
Maybe it is a TiN coating?

Thats a lot of meat on those cylinder walls... are you planning on leaving that, or are you going to mill it down further.
All three cases are lab to lab and we only waxed up the first one, I am with you on the cylinder walls being big but thats how the wax up came, they wanted it milled and then they where going to bond it to the abutment.

I was not sure if I should post or no, but i got a question,

K2:
I see that you are using "Gold" metal housing, why them vs titanium one?
Any particular reason you prefer them?
To be honest Bernigts, I had no idea that you could get Ti ones, I still think that gold looks cool. But now that I know they are out there I will go for the Ti option, I do like to keep all the metals the same if possible.

Is it just a matter of price why ppl still cast and/or use those weird cad-cam bar manufacturer?
Seriously there like 3-4 good players here (i will be honest, I think i offer the nicest one, but some of my competitor are not that bad) but I see some design of cylinder and/or bar that make no sense for me..
