Nearly every wax will shine up nicely if polished with a paper towel under cold running water. What do y'all do to get your wax rims extremely shiny ? Thank you in advance

DittoCotton ball and dawn dish detergent, or go old school and use pantyhose.
I add soapy water to the mix works nice too and less worry about overheating.I prefer to use small pieces of foam from tooth supply boxes cut into squares mounted on a
mandrel. Also use this for my wax ups.
e a buffer for the handpiece with some soft foam....Works very well....In fact I do a lot with the handpiece during finishing...Using those scotchbrite pads for gross removal and contouring wax and the buffing wheel makes for a nice finish....I will be doing some pumicing with the handpiece(old one) and a small ragwheel on a mandrel....behind the glass of course.
That's all l use anymore. Although mine is mounted on a quick chuck mandrel for the bench lathe.Using just packing foam in a mandrel works awesome, thanks TomZ
Pictures please
