Hi guys what do you do in pick up coping impressions

Hi guys,
When my dentist use the pick up coping impressions,
I only can use GC patten resin to deal the abutment part
Can you share that how do you do this type case?

I do the same. Pattern resin and some sort of metal pin for retention. You can get away with using stone with a metal pin on larger copings sometimes but resin is more certain. I use the red seperator that you use with Duralay.

Same as CatamountRob except I put thin film of baseplate wax on inside crown(s),score wax then use clear ortho acrylic with a paneling nail.

pattern resin with a bit of Vaseline before dropping it in...and the brass pins as pictured

we use temp material w/ a dowel pin.
way faster than using duralay material.
