So I have a case #7 implant with #6 crown. very tight interproximal to each other.
How do you all deal with gingival mask? Try and apply pre-pour up like usual,
or do after stone cures. I'm inclined to do normally, prior to pouring, but would
like to see if I'm missing a technique.

I'm doing it the same way as you. With the finer cartridge tips, I'm able to pretty much go right next to the margin and around the impression coping/analog.
If needed, I pour up a separate transfer die to confirm the crown margin, even scanning that in 3Shape as the prep and merging it with the model scan.
