My doctors love the hybrid screw retained emax crowns. I have been telling them to fill the hole with plumbers tape. What do you you reccommend to seal the hole with? One of my doctors said that is the only problem she has with these resorations. She wants something that will blend in better with the e.max crown.

I'm pretty sure there was a thread on here about this. a few ppl make little inlays that can be temp or perm cemented onto the access hole. blends perfectly and if adjustments are needed in the future, just the inlay can be removed to save the crown. make a new inlay and re-cement.

We use Teflon but will disinfect in chlorhexidine and dry, some feel bacteria cannot grow
on Teflon but I will still do that. Is the white still showing through because of the translucency?
You can always have the lab press an e-Max 'plunger' with a bevel covering the facial, and
make some divot you can hook an explorer to pull it out from the lingual before sealing with
small tape at the lingual before the composite . . .
