Hey my custom abutment and crowns are either too tight or too loose and always seem to need a ton of adjustments to get them to fit properly. I am not getting that seamless transition between abutment and crown I want. I design both and then mill both and when I go to marry them they just don't like how they should.

I am 3Sheeple, but here are my design settings for the zirconia:

cement gap: .020
extra cement gap: .040
distance to margin: .35
smooth distance :.5
drill comp and drill radius: .55

For the abutment design, I use these settings:

shoulder radius: .9
radius: .5

The last thing I do is when I am designing the abutment, I taper a few degrees on the abutment from the buccal, lingual, mesial, distal.

The crowns I design for Atlantis cases fit like a glove when I use the zirconia settings I listed at the top. Most of the abutments I design along with the crowns, fit pretty well, but sometimes a little adjusting is needed. Usually on the shoulder of the crown.
