Yea it will kick on and off occasionally to keep the material smooth, but should only run 10sec. or so at a time.

TCS - Yes. does the job well. last forever.

Bego.. Dup or Steamer - No Thanks. overpriced, don't hold up. but.. pretty on the outside if thats important.

CMP - No Thanks - Clog city.

been using it now and I have to say this thing is a huge step up from the CMP it makes almost no noise (only durng meltdown is it a little annoying)and doesn't clog, plus it's really small on the countertop. I agree with denture dude the others are just overpriced. this one does the same thing and from what I've heard lasts forever.
