We recently purchased our own PC and had CAP install the Ceramill System on it.
However, it seems the database for ceramill has to be on a local drive.
We want to store and fetch from our network drive that is our Scanning PC.
We tried to copy XML and SQlite Files to compensate but no luck.
Anybody have any experience on this topic?
Any help greatly appreciated
Warm Regards,
J

Yuri,
Not sure if Elona is your head Exocad tech there but she was not able to help us on this subject.
Went ahead and left a message on the tech support line.
Thank you for chiming in

I dont have time to go through all the .xml files in the DB directory, but I bet what you are looking for is a code that sends the saved files to that directory, if you change the directory in the .xml to your network drive, and create the proper folder, it might save it there. It does save on a partition of the drive usually, unless you have two hard drives installed. hope that helps.

Well AG does sell their own Ceramill "Mindserve" which seems like a simple NAS Server.

It would really suck if you could only use theirs o_O
