I've been using a Renfert Kolinsky No.6 for years.. I'm in need of a new brush and am in the mood to try something different. What's the favorites these days ?

Like 2thm8kr said, I really like the Ceramicus from Renfert. Artificial hair that acts and feels like natural. Holds onto water!

If you insist on natural, Renfert's new LayArt brushes are really nice as well.

smile line,n.era brushes!!!exellent brush,i have been using for 5 years,so damn good
this is from their web page :)))))))
Smile Line - www.smileline.ch

For 15 years, it has been a dream...

...today it is reality!

Challenge was: is it possible to create a porcelain brush

- which is better than the best Kolinsky quality
- with a superior sharpness and stability at the tip
- with a beautiful resilience
- which has a lifetime much much longer than Kolinsky

Yes, I've seen these at a couple courses (Oliver Brix, August Bruegera). They seem very good, though I haven't been able to try them yet.

Another shout for the Renfert Ceramicus, very reliable and not too costly.

On the same subject.....how often does everyone replace their brushes?

I have the set..
am I a great ceramist? no.. am I pretty damn good at almost every process in the C&B/ implant dept? yep, I am

are MPF brushes what you are used to, and what you prefer?
I would never consider using anything else..

opinions about equipment are always somewhat biased, as they are based on what ppl are "used to"
but I've also seen people do lab work for 25 years and still not have a F* clue

buy a set and try them for a month.. if you don't like them you won't loose out selling them on ebay.. I use mine and sell them when the next line comes out

I've used the M.P.F. Nondas for years. Great brush. I tried a LayArt the tip didn't last very long.
