I'm having problems with adding a new coping material in 3shape,
Hoping someone can help me out.
I added a couple other with no problems.

Im trying to add an Anatomical Coping material
I get the error:
"No "Crown" Element using "Anatomical Wax Coping" Found in the material file.

I have been looking around the 3shape control panel.
cant really see anything that stands out.

Any ideas?

thanks

Step 1 open control panel and go to coping.

Step 2 Copy the default file you would like to make a new anatomical coping of. Reason to copy is that you are now creating a new material that will never ever be modified if you ever update material file in the future when doing an update. If you use or modify the default materials they will me updates if you accidentally update materials in future updates.

You will see you Site ID in the ID tab of the new material you just copied. to see what your id is go to sites.

Final step, modify the new materials settings as needed. Anatomical setting are highlighted. Also make sure the material on the new coping is the right one, wax zr, ti etc....

Make sure to move the new material to the top of the list in the #1 position so it is the default material to go to if that's is what you want to use all the time.

Exit and save.

Hope this helps you out.

Thanks for the detailed reply.
However is still brings up the same error.

It's strange because it worked fine for the 2 I added earlier.

In order to do an anatomical coping, a crown must be designed first. Then 3shape does an offset of the crown to generate an anatomical coping. Create a Crown element using Sevan P's instructions above but for crown.
