3Shape Importing question

I have a question about how import STL files to a 3shape. Its been awhile.

It seems to only want an Upper and Lower scan.
How do you add a separate preparation scan of just the prep die?


I think in an older version. When you manually imported the files it asked you for the Preparation scan, Opposing. And the single die.
Now I don't see the option to add the single die.

What am I missing? It must be the way I have setup the order.

The prepreparation icon must be selected in the upper right corner under type of impression menu.
Ie digital impression and opposing and bite.

These scan are coming from where? Might have to import them via scan it dental instead of importing them in to case by right click import scan.

Thanks. I gave it a try and I can indeed bring the prep scan. Although you can't design on it.

These are impressions, then a stone die is added to the scan.

I always thought the scan it dental was just for teeth libraries.
