Thanks for your reply. I will look into the CAD settings. I have milled the same crown in both versions of Millbox, and the 19 vers consistently produces a smoother margin, whereas 22 will have little divets and occasionally minor chipping at margin.

Thanks all for replies. I changed out my 1mm and .6 bur. I am using Sierra Mid Range. Perhaps I need to keep a closer eye on wear, although haven't had any chipping on normal crown margins. I have cleaned the Collett and upgraded Millbox to the 22 vers. Seems to be finishing nicer now, but...

Ok Thanks for that! I will increase the offset. Current offset is 2.7mm. I will increase to 3mm and so on and see how it goes. :)

Hi Artin, The good one was in the 18mm disk. Crown height in the puck for the chipped crown was 11.5mm in the 14mm.

Have adjusted cavity fit in millbox to -0.01. (crowns were very tight on to the ti bases) Will replace appropriate burs. Will look at other tips you suggested and see how it goes. A matter of trial and error from here. Thanks for the help Davor :)

HI all Had a strange thing happen today whilst using 3shape. Scanning crowns was normal, but when I went to scan an implant, it wouldn't connect to scanit dental. No implant type would scan, yet every other order type would. I even tried downloading new DME's, but made no difference. Using 2021...

My lab is only small, but we typically work on 5 a day, and we still do a lot of FGC. We also could be doing splints, mouthguards snore guards as well. If a pfm comes in, we just start on it, and finish between other jobs.
