what are you using to cast ti?
there ya go! to save yourself a little time, you probably only need 1 additional connector on the extended bar segment, not 3.
Oops I was talking about the sprues that hold the bar in the puck during milling.

Hi Drizzt,
Why bothering doing all this cad work to finalized the bar with laser welding and casting part? Why not full cad-cam the whole product?
Cool!
I may put fewer links/sprues on the Titanium and of a smaller diameter.
That's just me? Are you using down-milling for final finishing operation in your cam?
Surface finish looks a little "shredded" to me? But it looks good...not really knocking ya!
I think Titanium is a kinda soft and sticky alloy. No? Kinda mills like a wax and leaves burrs
Hi bernigts ,
I don't have the software for bars , I scanned the model , another lab designed it for me and I milled it . We wanted to use ceka attachments , and as far as I know there are no ceka attachments in a library , at least the guy who designed the bar , doesn't have it . That's why we casted the attachment's female part and laser weld it .
