We currently accept scans via Cerec Connect but abhor the models printed by Infinident. Does anyone know how to send these files (.dxd) to another lab for printing? Thanks in advance!

If you have model builder and all scans in 3-Shape you can accept the file and make your model. That can be sent to any centre that prints models...

Why don't I hear anyone talk about going modelless with Cerec like I hear about 3 Shape and Exocad?

I found out you have to get a special license to export your incoming scans as an STL file (about $2500) and then you can import them into 3Shape model builder.

Who want's to design on the Cerec?!

We can convert these STL files for you. They are converted to be 3shape ready so that you can design restorations or print models for yourself. This also gives you the luxury of outsourcing your models to wherever you prefer. There is a small conversion charge per case.

What would be the best way to get you this DXD file? It is 70MB
