We've been using Cubex for a few months now. Great results. Had a few batches come out too opaque, not the usual translucency. Our high temp is 1500c. Any thoughts?
What did the units look like in the contaminated furnace? We sintered some in a Thermostar P1 Wieland and evidently the furnace elements were contaminated. Ran some clean/regeneration cycles and it seems to be ok. We are still trying to dial in the shades firing with our Ivoclar S1. Low value, translucent, not the correct hue. We are down to 1450C so I doubt they are overfired. Trying new liquids for fear of contamination from dipping.
Can you PLEASE see the pictures in the following link and tell me if that is what is what expected of a well sintered cubex2? Thank you very much!... When fired properly the CubeX2 will look almost pearl like in appearance..
CUBE X : OFTEN IMITATED BUT NEVER DUPLICATED! )
Why would anyone want to duplicate a product that is being recalled?
