Does anyone know when Invisalign will accept Trios files?
I was told by the local rep that they had made a decision not to. The reason given was that they had evaluated the scan data and that it is not good enough... go figure?
They know that Invisalign is still one of the strongest selling points for Itero. They give that up to Trios and then it is only price. Trios is so much easier and practical to use in the real world. I have a doc who has both. He has not used his Itero since....

They have also enabled it for Planscan. It has to go through a certified 3i lab partner. I heard that Trios is next.Off subject, but anyone heard anything about a Trios / Encode process? Biomet has enabled this for iTero and TrueDef....
I would love to know his reasons.
I have a client interested in purchasing another scanner primarily for invisalign because his cerec is closed to align.
I was hoping he would prefer the trios over the itero if he could send to Align.
Is there an alternative to Invisalign?
Clear correct ... is open to Trios.
