Hello everyone! New case e.max. Two premolars neighbors, but one is titanium abutment and the other is natural... Better to use zirconia abutments? And if I used a titanium abutment ... What should I use to cover it? Full contour? What is the best? thanks :)

I would definitely use the zirconia abutment. Even on a full contour you would still see some of the gray titanium showing through!

It's an old picture but you made me think of it...back when LT and MO were the only thing we had to work with. Now I wouldn't think of ever sticking LT in the posterior but it did cover the Ti abutment...and you're right, use a zirconia abutment then you don't have to worry about masking out the Titanium :)

We use LT ingots all the time to cover up Ti abutments. Just need about .6mm of material thickness.

Thanks for the advice. At this point not to risk using a zirconium abutment and cemented over a e.max with vestibular cutback.
