nice. very nice.

got to work this morning after a week off; i find my die feeder arm has broken.

i mean it has disassembled itself inside the scanner. the spring, the collar, the arm in 3 separate pieces.

anyone else have this happen ? it has been about a year in operation in the lab, and about 6 months since the last time it broke (the same way).

Hey Cool, sorry i can't help u with that. I have the 710 and the multi die feeder but haven't investigated on how to use it yet. Is it easy enough that you could expalin it to me? If not I understand and will search for that info.

Thanks.

its really easy to use! in the ScanItRestoration program you checkmark the box to do multi-die scan, then insert the arm in the scanner, and bingo.

we havent removed the arm from the scanner in 6 months, when last we had the arm fall apart.

not sure why its happened this time, and re-assembling it hasnt worked today; i will have to have the arm replaced.

One of the techs probably broke it because it's slower than manually putting the dies in by hand :p True story.
