Just thought I would share.
Maybe cut a nice full blank of wood as a talk piece when you have guests in the lab and you want to show off your system.

Zero, how much were those blanks? $200? or a nice $50?

Sawed off a slice of wood (leftover from a gunstock project) then smoothed the surface a bit with the dry model trimmer...since it was smaller than the disc holder dia., made a silicone mold of a PMMA disk (of the same thickness)... then poured around some old denture acrylic I had laying around...if I'm not counting the price of beer consumed through the whole time...it didn't cost a penny
