Which scanner

Hi, I’m new here so apologies if this question has been asked a million times before…..I have checked some past posts but can’t find exactly what I’m looking for, so……

I’m just getting in to the CAD/CAM thing and am looking at scanners. Since they have been around for quite some time people will have experience of the good and bad.

Can anyone give me some recommendations for equipment out there. Maybe someone has a scanner and loves it, or has a scanner and hates it. It would be good to know why to both.

I have a small lab (3 people) so output will not be huge.

I have been looking at the Lava scan ST, what do you think? Good or bad idea?

Any information would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
