I have a question about printed partial frameworks. I have not seen the material in person but I thought I heard somewhere that it was strong enough for a try-in. Is that true? If an adjustment was needed could the dentist just cut and duralay back? I am a fixed guy and looking into a scanner and printer. Have a friend in the removable business and think he would be interested and thought that would be pretty cool if possible.

Thanks,
Jason

I know it can be cut and re-attached. Sensible did a seminar here 6 weeks ago and it was very neat. A try-in would be really nice.

Doug, is that you from Delux???

I doubt the material would survive a tryin.

Too many sharp edged and it's just not that strong.

Tryin with the pattern would be nice..but lots of FDA requirements if placed in mouth.....$$$$$$ makes it pricey...also opens door for distortion blah blah blah....

I see. Oh well, would have been cool. Would be really nice to do fixed framework tryins as well. Thanks for the info!
