After reading all that jazz about the *** SUPER Oven, I wanted to know what sintering oven is everyones favorite?

And what is the backup story behind needing a higher firing oven for the more translucent zirconia.

We're normal kinda.....i sometimes act retarded though:p We just got a few Nabertherm P330 sintering ovens that work great.....and they're priced nicely at 6k. We've always used the Vita Zyrcomat T units with great success also:)

Tell me about it Paul, We got one about a year ago, think it came in at 8k but I do love it for single units, All our other stuff we put through any one of our two Everest Therms, think the top temp is 1450'c.

We have 5 different sintering ovens.
Takima
Lava Therm
Zircar
AG
Sintra
Been running these ovens multiple time a day. We just added 2more Sintra's priced right about $9K huge capacity, easily programable, holds may programs and fires very consistantly. We have been working to get the best looking translucent zirconia available and we are doing it with the Sintra. In addition, we have been firing it up twice a day for almost a year and have not had any maintaince or problems. Pirchased them through Lincoln DS.

My Super-Furnace (Warp-7) was under $5000. :D

It was $5400 after shipping and Ten extra Elements.

Any colour you like!

You need cheaper? They go down to under $3k for small size.

Same as the Prismatic and BruXzirr furnace.

Ok so Nabertherm is a good one. Along with some others, no disrespect.

Anybody have any experience with Shenpaz?

I have a Shenpaz Gemini HT press. I mostly use it for firing porc. My experience as a press furnace is minimal as I have an ep600. My point is I do have experience with Shenpaz the company. I really like the furnace, have been using it for 8 years with virtually no issues. I think it is a great furnace and may buy another one in the future. As for as the sintering furnace goes specifically I can not comment. I do feel the customer support has lacked when harris discount supply was the only distributor as my Hebrew is limited, but now that Zahn sells them I would guess that is better. though I haven't needed it. they are very well built. I hope that helps some.

Yes, we have three of there Sintra's. Very dependable, extra fast ramp rate 70deg/C per/min. Not that we are currently firing anything that fast but who knows what the future will bring. Quick cool cycle uses compressed air. Heating elements seems to last forever.

Scott,
Do you really think CrCo has a chance of gaining any market share in the US?
It's a loooong shot.
