Hello all, after receiving a call from my Zr reseller, I am at a crossroads. I was told that Jensen would soon be running out of there house branded Zr which was my everyday production Zr. I have already received samples of some new stuff to try, but was curios as to any other companies having trouble sourcing the raw materials for manufacturing. I have a hard time believing that only one company would have this issue. I was also told that the support of their older Preciso CAM would also go away, so I am looking to maybe upgrade my Preciso (VHF)mills to a new CAM. I have heard form others that this is not possible, but was told I should use DENTAL CAM8 from VHF and if I call them or a VHF reseller, they can upgrade my CAM to run those mills. I initially bought everything from one company to minimize the blame game, and it was a great run for 10 years, but as with everything there must be an end. I would be interested to hear any information, opinions and or advice to minimize the frustrations of getting support with my setup going forward. I am not a CAM engineer, I can fix the mills if it isn't too complicated and I don't have many issues with my current CAM except it sometimes won't correctly mark angulated screw channels. I am going to test some NexxzrT to replace Jensen XT, and I plan on using the Lava liquids to color it. Any help with formulas or better coloring liquids, please let me know. I appreciate all the info you techs' have provided and is why I ask your opinions. TIA
Mike

Let me know what you find out with switching CAM software from jensen. I have a preciso that I haven't used in about 6 years that I'm going to bring back out but I'll need new software I think. I still have the old hyperent so hopefully it still works?
When I was coloring unshaded(white) zirc I really liked Origin liquids from B and D Dental. But Milling multi layered shaded zirc is definitely my favorite if you can workflow it if you're a one man lab.

We use Prime from Ivolcar. Comes in all 16 vita shades, it's multilayer, and it's indicated for just about everything.

I'm still using the M200 mill with the Hyperdent CAM software. When they told me that they were no longer manufacturing Imagine Zr about 6 months ago, they gave me a bunch of bar codes so I could use another manufacturers Zr without changing CAM software. We went with Argen's HT+ white with coloring liquids from B&D. We also use their Argen Z anterior which is very similar too Imagine from Jensen. Hope this helps!

try contacting Alienmilling.com They have a great selection of zirc. and if you want to change your software or machines, i'm sure they can help
you with that too.

Hi Brian, do you mind if you can share some bar code from jensen please?

Give me your email address, and I'll send them to you in a file.
Hi,
I saw your post about using the Jensen Preciso M200 with Hyperdent. I’m very interested in setting up the same workflow. I also have a Jensen Preciso M200 and I’d like to run it with Hyperdent. Could you please help me by sharing your files? That would be extremely helpful for me.

Thank you very much for your support and for sharing your experience.

What files are you wanting?

I need the post-processor files so Hyperdent can recognize the machine and work with the milling machine. I installed Hyperdent, but that model doesn't appear. How did you do it?

I bought the system from another technician that was retiring, everything was initially set up from Jensen dental when he purchased it, I'm not for sure how to get the files you are needing?

I'll send you the files this coming week if you still need them. I think I still have them.
