For you guys milling your own Emax. What kind of thickness are you able to mill to without breakage ? Thanks

I would follow Ivoclar's recommendations.

Just today... a friend... ahem... milled an e.max crown that was thinner than recommended. It fractured when trimming the connector. So yeah, lesson learned.

on my planmill, with the ideal conditions, i've gotten away with .5mm

Correct me if I'm but I think Ivo. asks for 1mm. That being said if I was restricted to no less than 1mm. my I would be able to mill about one out of ten. I didn't know if Ivo. was just playing safe with the 1mm. guideline or if its gospel .If milled thicker than actual crown clearance allows are you then adj. after crystallization ? .
