Hey guys, we bought a Mihm Vogt furnace. but it came without the heating elements in place.

Here's what it came with the furnace:

And this is how it looks:

The manual has no instructions on how to get them in place, only how to assemble the tray and program the furnace.

I would really appreciate the help.

Maybe this will help. This is a MV HT oven with the top off looking down. I had to replace an element that broke during delivery.

Just make sure that the elements AREN'T touching the lid! Ours came assembled, and when I plugged it in sparks shot out the top and melted it some what! Very kool

Hey guys, as always, thanks for the help.

I thought all furnaces came with the heating elements in place...

Anyway, I´ll try too see if I can arrange things with Toast´s pics... btw, thanks man.

I still haven´t received anseer from the guys at Germany who sold us the furnace, I just want to be sure I won't screw the guarantee or something.

Mihm-vogt's do not come assembled, something about shipping them around. Another furnace we sell, the Sintra, does come put together. Who knows. Let me try to dig up a .pdf for you Neuralgia, whats your email?

No problem. I think you're better off having to install them yourself. The elements just kind of hang there so they don't travel well installed.

Again guys, thanks for the help... Sam-CAP, I would really appreciate that pdf (danielcifuentes at gmail)

If they com assembled or not, it's not and issue, as long as I have instructions on how to assemble them... That's what has me in this situiation.

I just need instructions.

I know for sure it's not rocket science, but again, I don't want to mess anything up, since I'm in Costa Rica.

Just sent them over to you. Good luck!

9.2.1 How to Change the Thermocouple
• Pull out the power-supply plug!
• Unscrew the rear wall. Loosen the two hexagonal head screws (8) directly
underneath the top and pull the furnace front cover forwards.
• Loosen the connections of the thermocouple head. Unscrew the thermocouple
from the supporting sheet metal and take it out.
• Insert new thermocouple and screw it on. Connect the new thermocouple
correctly: red cable at + , white cable at - !
9.2.2 How to Change the Heating Elements
• Pull out the power-supply plug!
• Unscrew the rear wall. Loosen the two hexagonal head screws (8) directly
underneath the top and pull the furnace front cover forwards. Branch off defective
heating element. Loosen carefully the aluminium straps and pull out the heating
elements of the insulation lead. Insert the new heating element in the opening.
Slip on the aluminium straps and fix the jams.

Kinda wish they had pictures to go with this .pdf...

I believe that with all this information I can manage this. I´ll let you guys know. I´ll get to the lab tomorrow morning.
