yes it is possible. several methods. none of them produce files that are easy to manufacture, as there are severe undercuts.

search it on youtube.

Thank you so much @CoolHandLuke , we have been searching in youtube but we have not been able to find anything, maybe we are using the incorrect wording, could you point us to the right direction? You surely have a lot more experience than us. Thank you so much beforehand.

try tabletop workflow. same idea. snapon smile can be done through temporary on prepared model, tabletop, anatomy bridge on unsectioned model. you just have to bring the margins down below undercut areas. this makes them difficult to manufacture and insert without some cheating.

Thank you so much @CoolHandLuke i will try this and i will let you know. There is something else we need to accomplish here, we need to add a RIDGE to a section in this full arch snap on smile. Do you have any idea how to accomplish this in 3shape?

Yeah but you arent going to like it.

Make one big coping. Make the other anatomical units a bridge on the coping.

3shape wont let you add ging to any type of bridged structure.

Barring that just make a waxup and morph it.

Thank you so much @CoolHandLuke, you really should have a youtube channel showing how to solve all of this types of design challenges.

if you are good at something, never do it for free.

Like this? Here's how I did it step by step

3Shape design temp over model (not adapted)
Design nightguard in whatever software you want
Import nightguard in meshmixer along with original jaw from 3shape (.DCM export as stl)
Position nightguard over jaw as best you can without changing the positioning of the jaw (get it as close as you can)
Export nightguard from meshmixer
Import preop into meshmixer along with jaw both exported as stl from 3Shape
Boolian differennce in meshmixer
Create new 3Shape case (temp design on prepared model)
Import nightguard as jaw
Import the waxup you exportred from meshmixer as copy
Import antagonist for occlusion
Copy all units from waxup one by one
Finalize it
Close case and copy it with original design and create model on the active jaw.
