Almost everyone I have talked with locally says that I need to move my lab to attract a top technician. Is this a reasonable thought. I will also have a training center - technical and clinical this could also have an effect. Your thoughts would be appreciated!

PS Yesterdays Question got lost in the shuffle!:)

We are in a small rural community (no traffic, but not much here)

Ill bite...Location might be an issue for some people, but I think salery is more important. You are having trouble attracting a'top level' tech? Whats the pay? LMT just came out with their wage survey, but I dont think that its realistic to think youre going to get a good tech for 22-25 bucks an hour.

i agree pay for a incoming tech is more important than location
but when you are deciding on $ - you must take into account your area
if $22-$25 is good salary in your area regardless of occupation than that need's to be taken into consideration
since we are talking $ - this is just my 2 cent's on the subject

We were thinking 80,000 per year salary and bonuses to put it at 100,000 +. People have different needs so this is an estimate, adds will come out in the next month.
