Hard/soft dual laminate

I ordered some dual laminate, and after vacu-forming it seemed to be very thin. Is it suppose to be like that? Or did I leave it under the heating element to long? I only see one thickness from patterson. And how does this stuff fare for bite splints? Thanks for any feedback.

Higher model = thiner laminate...
for splints i use 3mm dreve kombiplast

What thickness did you order? If you are using the Proform Dual Laminate material they make a 2mm, 3mm & 5mm. Most people like the 3mm.
