Question: how often and how do I grease the bars inside the Roland machine?

Cheers!

Unless you are a lazy cleaner and leave the mill filthy, I never did it for over a year of use. Maybe Glenn can chime in on this. I just maintained the chuck every month.

Go easy with the grease, if it mixes with the Zr powder you'll get a very abrasive compound

Keep the machine clean. Vac out the dust after every puck and then use a brush to brush and vac any remaining dust. Use a cloth to wipe down the rails. Page 48 of the printed installation guide that comes with the machine covers daily and weekly maintenance procedures. As zero_zero mentioned grease + zr dust= grinding paste.
