You have to host the file. I don't think travis is hosting anymore. or its limited in size.

Bernard, I see there is a "Mesh Extension" and a "Montreal Upper," what exactly is the Montreal Upper? Maybe not an extension?

HI,

The Montreal Upper is an option to add a top on the suprastructure with holes to give some extra mechanical retention.
To get an extension you ask for the "Mesh extension" that will allow the suprastructure to be longer than the primary bar. The mesh extension will also have a contact point with soft tissues to not be completely "floating". Like that we give a better distribution of forces.

Bernard - interesting how PEEK has come along. I assume there
is no way to bond this, using conventional acrylic PMMA?
This material will fail by fatique with clean fracture or will
it bend?

Well done, I hate those attachments but I know it was your clients choice. I have a really cool double structure that I will shoot when I get it back I am pretty sure its a first for Bernard and his team as its a copy mill with full metal lings for the ant six in Ti and MK1 attachments.

I am afraid that he will like it to much and want us to keep doing them. It is hard to turn down money but I hate working for this Doc I will send him to you John ;)

Money is always good but I have a few nutcases I want to export as well :)

I think the main issue is as we collaborate with these designs is the clients flexibility to listen to our expertise. When I partner with a client if my wisdom is not wanted and he/she wants to only "Do it their way" we rarely last long term. I have in the past had clients gain the comfort level to allow the lab to have greater say in treatment planning and its these clients that stay and continue to thrive. Being married to the these big cases forces you to communicate better, document explicitly and not be wishy washy on terms as it relates to failures.

Well here is a update on the case, we didn't have time to take the nice pics like we wanted but this is it finished up and the patient got her youthful teeth she wanted like when she was 20. Oh well.

For tech info, you may be interested in these videos at youTube, which go into detail about bonding to Juvora PEEK
Alternatively it is easier to go through a certified lab like Panthera Dental and get a semi- finished (frame) or prosthesis

Thanks, interesting table at end of video - not everyone is going to have a Rocatec
but the Bredent appeared promising. Repairs to the framework would involve the
whole process all over again if the fracture is not between the Gradia and the tooth.
Still not sure clinically how much a lab can promise the DDS, or the DDS to the
patient how long things will last in the mouth. Not sure if it will bent/plastic
deformation or will it fracture clean and end up aspirated/ingested . . .
