JOB DESCRIPTION:
Start-to-finish proficiency in all aspects of Ceramics: build-up, grind-in, contour, full anatomy and contacts
Produce artistic, esthetic, and high quality porcelain work.
Finish porcelain/zirconia after milling, staining glazing, ceramic layering
Thorough understanding of morphology and functional design in both anterior and posterior restorations is essential for full arch/full mouth cases.
Scan implant fixtures, design and fabricate custom abutments, crowns, multiple unit bridges, full arch restorations and veneers
Printing of occlusal splints, surgical guides and models
Post processing of 3D printed materials
Read work prescriptions and examine cases to determine the design of dental restoration
Scan, design, and fabricate dental prosthesis using CAD/CAM software and technology
SKILL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years dental laboratory experience as a laboratory technician, or prior experience working for a dental implant manufacturer, or CAD/CAM designer
Experience with Exocad, 3Shape, Hyperdent and any other desktop scanners and software
Experience with 5 Axis Milling units such as Arum/VeraMill
Experience with 3D printers
Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred (not required)
CDT degree preferred (not required)
Experience in a regulated environment preferred
Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, must work together and communicate with all other departments throughout the lab.
Ability to identify and problem solve independently and within a team environment.
Ability to work on multiple tasks, and complete them by following strict timelines.
Attention to detail
Must be willing to continue education with C/E events and seminars
Must have a clear understanding of form and function, dental anatomy and morphology
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $35.00 per hour
