Hi Scott ! Don't you try to make individual abutment, but for system that absent in library? I mean Astra . I have a platform, make wax up, scan it and first problem is hole for screw. Is it possible to add hole in sum3d?

Yes, you can create hole curves in Sum3D as long as those hole channels are in the STL or what have you. So for you, no.
I believe SUM3d will get very confused if you try selecting these curves for delimation if they are not present in the STL model itself.
But hey, maybe you could try anyway. Maybe there is another way.
But rule of thumb for me is,,,
The answer to any question starting with, "Can Sum3d...?"
Is almost always YES!

What we do in this sort of situations we use something to make the screw chaft of the platform higher(round screw holder or what you could find what is good for it)
If you scan it it, it will need to end up higher then your wax up occlusal plane, have you done something like that befor?

I hope you understand what I meen.

Thanks One:cool:
