3shape licence renewal

Hi guys,
I was wondering when the time comes to renew my annual license, do I have to renew it with the company I have purchased
my scanner from or I can buy it from any other vendor who sells 3shape? Also if I buy my license from another company do they provide
tech support since I have bought the license from them?

You are normally stuck with the company you bought it from, thats not to say the other company can not help you if they are doing your milling and it's in their interests - or ask here

It's up to the company who you bought the 3Shape from. We have had people transition dongles over to us, for our support, with no issues. I have also seen other companies refuse to transfer the dongle, and if I'm not mistaken under the resellers agreement company XYZ is allowed to deny such a transfer.

Also if I buy my license from another company do they provide
tech support since I have bought the license from them?

Yes. Some of the dongle fee pays for support.

Im also stuck with this on license renewal. Would like to change my fees to another company because the one we currently are using has been no benefit for the amount of money they are receiving.
