3Shape import scan help

Hello,

I have received some files from a dentist who uses Simplant to plan his surgeries.
I got my Atlantis rep to convert the files to STL as they were in a proprietary format.

Now, I have both arches scans, some kind of abutment geometry and a scan of the treated arch with the abutment geometry in place.

I tried to import manually into 3Shape, but I get stuck when it asks me for an occluded scan.
Any way to get around that and still get my antagonist?

what else have you got for the case ? do you have models or a bite?

if you have nothing, best you can do is eyeball it and grind it in.

if you have models and/or a bite you can scan models in occlusion, and use that scan in the import process. so make any order for any thing and just skip to the bite scan. close, rename the bite scan. new order: models will be the simplant models, bite will be the bite you scanned.

Don't have any physical items for this case, all digital.

That would be the easy fix, but the Dr. can't be reached until next week and we need to mill the temporary today or tomorrow.
I am not even sure they have a bite scan either...

Yes, I was able to import the antagonist without a bite scan by creating the case as having no antagonist, importing the scans (minus antagonist) and after the fact, modifying to select "model" and importing the antagonist STL. It's not in the correct position relative to the treated arch, but I can play around with the virtual articulator to find a somewhat acceptable position. Since this is a provisional, it has to be out of occlusion anyway.
Thank you all
