That's funny, I've been thinking about going to his concert soon... and was on a Sting kick a couple months ago. He's pretty dang good- seems like an awesome guy, too.
I've been meaning to post this. It may be the most famous dentally related album ever. Haha
I was thinking custom shade pictures and stuff. That's great you offer that. I could see it getting bigger.
Yeah that's so cheap. I guess it's different for everyone. With some things I feel like if it's so cheap then the doc might feel like they're asking for a favor when they ask for it...
That seems like a great service to offer, but I can't imagine what a feasible price would be...
Being out of the lab, driving, bringing all the stuff I would need...
We have a doc that works at a local university and wants to do a paper on scanner accuracy...
He mentioned: "We have 5 casts that we can scan (ranging from full teeth, missing some teeth and completely without teeth). We could do 10 scans per model per scanner, so that we can check...
Movable benches? o_O
That would be pretty cool. Like completely movable on wheels, and people can just work wherever they want? What happened to make you think about that?
Do you guys know anyone that does this kind of consulting?
What are some main points to think about?
I was wondering about this-
Would it be good to have designers sitting visibly in front of grinders/builders/finishers? That way people can have a better hand in what the design looks like...
I have a powerpoint for a class Chuck Yenker did on lab valuation. I don't know if I should post it publicly or not... probably not.
If someone wants it PM me and I can send it to em
1. I start out by asking them how they like their temporary. I'm looking to pick up on any things they do/do-not like, so I can keep/fix any of those features.
2. Then I ask/note any difficulties with their case as to align their expectations with reality.
3, Then I use the Vita Easyshade to...
Yeah, so far I've gotten a .dxd converted through infinident, but it isn't closed. And I've also exported .stls (also not closed). You think it's better just closing the raw file to print? Or finding out how to design and export the models with pinholes etc?
I don't know if you need the .stl...
Is anyone able to print their own models from Sirona/Cerec scans??
Last time I checked the only option was to get them printed through them (Infinident).
Thanks everyone!
Yeah, I had heard about the one wing theory- and it totally makes sense- but I was more afraid of it bonding at all. Do you think one of those wings would be strong enough to hold??
That looks awesome French! Those wings look really thin, too. Are they that much thinner...
