I was very close to buying one, thank goodness I didn't!
I believe after owning a Roland the Everest is overkill and over engineered just saying...
but congrats on the effort!
I had a Amann copy mill machine
there was some long nights spent on that thing!
once you go CNC tech you will never go back
On the plus side its very cheap to get started (in comparison to CNC) and you can really maximise your blocks with shorter connecters, cramming etc
Of course, Dr Sasha has his opinion. The facts are that DT are not registered, the industry has no governing body. The industry had a heathy middle class (quality) its now either high or low, you get the aesthetic cases that are demanding and time consuming. The bread and butter goes somewhere...
It all depends on you, but my cents why deal with the middle man? when you can deal with the customer and sell a product & service at the price & way you want.
Its Very rewarding and the freedom it offers is amazing.
I am on a holiday I dont see it as work.
Corie I hope you fix the issue I have a 4 also, I think you where trying to mill a bridge, this happens to me when I have a bridge which has many complex angles etc.
The issue with the 4's SUM is its a watered down version so there are limitations.
I went to there National office to see it in action, everything looked awesome!
Then I saw how they are marketing to the dentist (new materials surgical guides etc)
Hmmm Shoot oneself in the foot comes to mindBird
