Making a model from trios scan for straumann vario base in 3 shape 2015

Can someone walk me thru this procedure. I know I can't design a vario base in 3 shape 2015 but I would like to build the model there. If that's not a option what are some other choices?

As far as I know, Straumann doesn't make a dim analog .

The do make an analog its not called a DIM its called a "repositionable analog" but do not have anything digitized to allow us to do what you want utilizing THEIR scan locator. You have to make your own library and hack things with NT trading lab analogs.

I do not think a library exists, I can also state with a passion that Straumann is of zero help the multiple times I have called them, they say contact your re-seller.

I had a very talented tech here make the model in 3 shape model builder.
And I used Exocad to design off of the dcm files.
I'll find out in a couple of days when the model gets here if it worked!
