Ask your 3shape dealer for the AbutmentDesigner demo. That will give you about 20 demo saves so you can test the feature before you buy it.
I don't remember the exact number, but if you do around 100 abutments per year it is worth buying the AbutmentDesigner license. If you do less, let's say 20 abutments per year, buy CAD points instead. Each abutment will use a certain amount of CAD points and you can also use those CAD points for Removables or Implant Bars.
