While visiting a lab this week the owner showed me a storage room full of old equipment. He had a story for every item in that room: how much he paid for it, what it did well, what it did not do well and what he replaced it with. I have seen this in a lot of labs that I visit.

Yes, up until 15 years ago. I had to make a decision to do that or keep doing this. Either job doesn't give much time for sleep, but I am getting too old to work the 1-5 am shift. Lol

Lately I tend to turn down the volume everywhere I go...some eons ago I did the exact opposite...My hearing must've become better ...
