are they high speed spindles (high speed = over 15k rpm)

if so, they are somewhat similar

if not, then the torque will be important.

are you comparing AC spindles? air cooled or liquid cooled?

they have different characteristics. its not like Jager wakes up every morning and says Today i'm gonna make some sh1tty spindles for some cra1ppy mills. no they don't.

they are both quality objects built with specific functions in mind.

To be specific , iam comparing the arum 300D sycotec and the arum 300pro jäger , both are mentioned 60000 rpm air cooled . What confused me , in arum 500l one
video they mentioned that sycotec somehow better than jäger .

don't get it mixed up.

Versamill 300 and 500 come with Sycotec

Arum or imill come with Jager.

the change in spindle is one reason Versamill stand out from other Arum vendors.

this is the spec sheet for the Jager spindle

you will find here in red that you obtain torque ever decreasing as rpm increases and power in/out increases; i.e. the more you spin it theres a point at which the power no longer delivers extra cutting power (40k rpm).

the sycotec spindle publishes their torque curve like this:

in red i have emphasized important information: you get the same torque at almost all speeds on this graph and peak power/torque cut off at 60k rpm

thats whats different between the two.

if this is too much info, Sycotec is better.

You could not explain it more , exactly what i was looking for . Thank you so much for your time really , thank you . my choices are narrowed , in this case sycotec is what i need .
