I wanted to know for those of you using the stereo microscope, which model you use and how focal length and lighting system.
Should I replace my old stereomicroscope and I do not know which model I could orient .
I know that spending enough I could get a Leica or a Zeiss, but in times of crisis ..
I wondered if there could be something cheaper that can do its job nicely

If you want ultra cheap, decent optics (but short depth of field) check out the Meiji Techno model BM with mono halogen bulb, comes in 5,10 and 20x. You can see straight into the deepest post canal, but it takes some getting used to.
Long Arm Stereo Microscopes - BM & BMK Series

those are decent scopes for the price, no doubt. again a little bulky on the desk space. otherwise not a bad one!

Renfert Mobilskops. I have 5 or 6 of them, never any problems.

Do you work on your forearms or elbows. Avoid the Mantis if you are a elbow worker.

ditto that, ive used about a dozen microscopes. the mobiloskop s are lightweight, non intrusive, and functionally superior IMHO.
cheers to that!

A bit late, but then tell you what I bought.
The Meiji EMZ 10 zoom.
Excellent value for money and top performance
