Scan cutoff???

Why does this happen? Scanning #18 & #19 on the same case, did not move the mount in the scanner, #18 scans fine, and #19 half scans and looks like this.

Yes, and it continues to block out that side of the prep. I ended up using the multi die holder and both dies scanned perfectly. I am just wondering why, sometimes, the scan cuts off a section of the die when the die is left in the articulator base.

Are the annotations marked properly?

The overall scan comes out fine. What confuses me is the more posterior prep(18),which is closer to the outside of the scanning area, scans fine.

Yes, I believe that they are marked properly. What would you suggest, going by the photos? This only happens once in awhile.

I had this happen to me before if I didn't mark them at the lowest part of the margin
