We submitted paperwork approximately 2 months ago so another month or two. There is nothing fishy. It just took along time to get the paperwork ready and there was TONS of testing and documentation that has to be done since EACH part has to go through the approval process and we have alot of parts.

Keith do you any scientific response to claim made by the major implant manufacturers have better, or more qualified parts? This would help in our lab recommending one system over another

When you mention scientific data I assume you looking truly objective and standards based information.
The scientific data is that information which is submitted to these organizations to obtain approvals.
This data is proprietary and often confidential.

At a minimum any company providing implant components should have ALL of the following regulatory and standards approvals if they wish to be considered credible in my eyes

ISO9001 and ISO 13485
CE approval for Europe
Biocompatible titanium that complies with ASTM F136 standards
FDA approval for USA
Canadian Registrar for Canada


All of the major implant companies have all of these approvals/compliance standards/etc.
